What is a Google Spider?
Saw this while looking at the Currently Active Users: 03:16 PM Google Spider Viewing User Profile
Any ideas what it is? |

A spider is the name of the program the search engines use to crawl the web and index new pages. I don't know why it would show up in the online users list unless someone registered an account with that name.

I don't think it was a registered account. It was lumped in with the "guests" and you couldn't click on it, like you can one of the other members' names.
