Cup Draws?

Apparently some countries already had their cup draws but they were incorrectly assigned, now the HT team is saying that everything should be resolved. Any idea when we'll be getting to see our cup draws in the US?

Right after the friendlies tonight. The countries that had the problem had probably played their friendly of the week...

In France, we 've already had our draws and I will playing at Athletic Valinor (div VII). I like the name, but the team just sucks. Here's their last league game rating.

Athletic Valinor
Player rating and Team formation
Team Attitude:(Hidden)
Tactic:Normal
Tactic skill:(Unlimited)
Midfield:disastrous (low)
Right Side Defence:wretched (very high)
Central Defence:poor (low)
Left Side Defence:poor (high)
Right Side Attack:weak (very high)
Central Attack:weak (very low)
Left Side Attack:poor (very high)

I love this new cup, I can see loads of PICs coming my way!!!

The new Cup won't change anything for countries like Canada. The worst is that this season, I'm seeded as a 4th place div III team, i.e. #95 overall in all of Canada. With 2048 teams at the start of the Cup, it won't be until round 5 or maybe even 6 that I'd be able to host a Cup match... ouch...

Ahh, I guess it makes sense that we won't get it until after our friendlies tonight, just a bit anxious to see what bot team I get to beat on

you can sort of get the unofficial list here:
http://www.lysator.liu.se/~frid/hattrick/HTCR/

There may be mistakes, but to me, it's been accurate the last two seasons...

Oh, really? Had not realized that. On the other hand, as hhiipp said, USA and Canada don't get an extra cup round, so it's still all good

Funny enough, I'm set to play a team called Team Nature Boy that was once in IV.18 in Canada when I was there, but I never played them. He replaced an almost bot team after I had trounced them 8-0 and 10-0 in the back-to-back weeks 7 & 8 games in season 22... From what I saw on HATStats, he's not improved so much since taking over the team

Hey I remember those games!! I might even have commented in your guest book if you look behind far enough...

Doesn't Canada lose the home&home semis and finals?

When last we knew, it didn't handle ties correctly. It's not certain whether they can be handled correctly, though -- although series placement and qualifier assignment appears to be deterministic (I haven't seen Hatstats get it wrong yet), I think there's a suspicion that cup seeding involves some randomness.
