Also, with the "Whole year was a bad dream" wasn't there a TV series where the season ending episode or something like that explained away the season's events by having the character wake up from a dream? Or am I just dreaming?

...remember the 'Got Milk?' commercial where the guy is eating cake and gets a call from a contest line? He can't speak because he doesn't have a glass of milk to wash down the cake. The answer to the contest question? Aaron Burr. |

Yep, good one on Burr. I thought of that, and didn't make the milk association!
And eponymous district monsters must refer to Elbridge Gerry, the "father" of gerrymandering.
