Form Question

I'm trying to figoure how form drops work. Every week at training my starters form seems to drop and my back ups are the guys that get the form increases. And to make matters worse the same starters have form drops the following week, or at best stay the same, never seeming to go back up. What can I do to help my teams' form out other them train form, which I dont want to do. I know the formula says like 1/3 team form drops and 1/3 team form increases or somethign along those lines during the weekly training. Is it a benefit to have more players on your team to soak up the drops? Or less players so less drop?

higher training intesity help keep form higher.
and the number of trainers help as well.
other than that, its random as long as they played that week.
well, training stanima hurts form too.

So if its random if they played that week, what is it for the players that dont play? Do they stay the same or can they change as well?

See section 14 of the rules, entitled "Players". It lays out the exact way the form update takes place every week, as well as the factors that go into an update to a player's background form.

You can control coach skill, number of assistants, training intensity, whether a player has played in a week, and stamina training. There's a significant random factor as well, possibly weighted by the current form of the player.

Because of the sequence of the form update (changes to background form occur after the player's form has been updated), form changes tend to have a delayed action. If you train stamina or lower training intensity, it will take another week for the effects to appear.

Based on my experience, I believe that general training is implemented in the first training stage, where game form is moved along the curve toward background form. I think most likely it is implemented as an effective addition or multiplier on background form.

Only when a player has no change at all in their form (not even a TSI change) -- then you can be pretty sure that the background form and the game form are the same. Other than that, it's hidden.
