NWN Character Development

NWN Character Development

Hey guys-

I have begun playing NWN and I am very addicted. It is a great game. The only problem is I really do not feel like I am in touch with my character. I usually let the computer do all the choosing when I level up. I also need recommendations on what items to buy. Here is my current list:

Human Fighter (11)

AC: 33
Tower Shield +3
Full Plate +3
Longsword + 3
Brawlers Belt
Cloak of Protection +1
Ring of Fortitude +2
Boots of Hardiness +1
Amulet of Natural Armor +3

Any recommendations on where to go now? I am going to have to start going with specialty items and I am not sure which fit’s the fighter class best. Any insight would be helpful. I have around 30000 cash and a good economic system going.

By the way, the server I play on I know pretty well. If anyone ever wants to play, let me know.

Since no-one else is answering...

...it depends. :-)

You can go in so many different directions with most NWN characters, especially a 11th Fighter - where do you want to take him? What do your skills/feats look like?

What's the world you play on like? High magic, low magic, restrictions...?

The world, from my experience, is mostly filled with monsters such as Orges, etc.

I would like to improve my AC and get a bteer weapon that will do more HP damage.

I gave up on NWN, I just didn't like the gameplay. And I'm a RPG geek. I have gone back to Baldur's Gate II for another run through in my spare time. I guess I like a story-line (although it's much more enjoyable when you don't know what going to happen next).

I know they are making NWN2, but it will most likely just be better graphics. I wish they would make something geared towards SP again. Boo-Hoo.

Yeah, but some guy just kept chasing me around the town square beating a living pulp out of me...

Then I tried a persistant world that was recommened here by QS or Wig or somebody and I kept getting slaughtered by Brown Bears in a forest.....

I think MP requires more time and dedication than I could really manage. So I can't say that I gave MP a fair chance.

I think a FOFC party would be alot of fun. One that plays at designated times on designated days. We could designt he party to where we could get the most flexabillity out of it.

No doubt about everyone starting from scratch.

I would be up for that, but I really doubt that I would be able to consistently make it...
