PureSim Multiplayer

The next updated adds full multiplayer support including automatic upload/download support for both the commish and the owners for things like roster moves, the latest association files etc.

http://p089.ezboard.com/fpuresimbase...icID=464.topic

1.6 also adds full player editing support and the ability to import players directly into an association from any year in baseball history, on the fly.

1.6 will go to beta Friday.

so you will be able to do your lineup, depth chart, tickets price, etc and than export your team file?

will you be able to do that for free agents bids too and spring training in the offseason?

and will the export be able to export to ftp, so the commish can set there ftp server in the game and owners can export to his ftp directly?

thanks

Yes, but PureSim does not have ticket prices.

Not in 1.6 but I am adding the ability to submit a draft profile for a future release.

Yes, its all FTP and all completely integrated into the game. Users will never have to leave the game.

Excellent news Shaun - I think Puresim is a very solid game and adding this to the product when it wasn't a stated feature and adding it for free when you probably could have easily charged some fee or made it a headline feature of your next Puresim was a very nice touch.

Not to start a mutual admiration society here but... As I stated over on the PureSim message boards, TPB 2005 has blown me away. Amazingly polished and very solid -- this coming from a guy who hates Basketball

I would think if you could get your league's data in a BBRef like format (perhaps use Commish Joe's exporter) that you would be able to import it into Puresim. The conversion probably wouldn't be perfect, but might be enough to let you continue on.

There is no direct conversion function from OOTP to Puresim.

For those who haven't tried the latest version yet, Puresim has come along ways from the original tech previews and first version release, with all the changes and additions coming with 1.6 (Multi-player, editor capabilities, etc.); if your the least bit interested in the game; try it out, I think you'll find a lot to like about it.

awesome

so in the meantime how is free agent bidding for offseason going to be done on multiplayer? on ootp we bid on the free agents and then export to ftp team bids.

suggestion if you can add a live draft for amatuer draft will
be awesome..

we all connect to the commish and we can chat and see the list of players in the draft and we can use are mouse to pick the player and then he gets remove from the list the list can be sorted by position and show the rating. also add a timer for next person to pick , etc

thanks
