FBCB. Sims fast. Possibly the best interface for a text sim. Spot on results. The list could go on and on. As someone who owns both, FBCB is a flat out a better game than TDCB. Not even all that close.

Haven't played TDCB, but I highly recommend FBCB:
Positives: Solid stats, quick pace to the game, serviceable interface, fun recruiting, fun decisions, solid player development model, outstanding customer support, lots of play options/customization possibilities, great sim engine, attention to detail. Negatives: Can get lost a bit in the interface at times, quite limited graphics. Bottom line: One of the best text sims on the market today, regardless of sport. |

I too own both games and fbcb is by far the better game. It just plain feels more like a real game when you coach.

I echo what everyone else says. FBCB just seems much more realistic to me. It's not nearly as flashy as TDCB, but for me it blows TDCB away. FBCB is #2 of my list of best sports sims regardless of sport.

For me CM/FM. It's simply the most immersive game, I've ever played. I wasn't much of a soccer fan before I started playing, and I am now.

Yes, but I will likely wait til it is released in the USA. Unless it appears that the release will be significantly after the time the first patch is out.

Don't sweat it, I thought you did great as commish. I found the FBCB MP lacking, but FBCB is definately a great SP game right now. I think for MP, we should be given the option of playing a static schedule where we can each play one game per week. That would help a lot. The staggered schedule hurt the immersion factor tremendously. The only real way to do it would be to do an import and export for every day of the season and with 10MB imports or larger, that just wasn't feasable. Just a suggestion. |
