Hi Marc, hope you're well. Thanks for FM2005 - looking forward to playing it when it is released here in Australia this week.

Two quick questions:

a) is it possible to play with a team without worrying about being sacked? I am thinking of taking over one of the big name clubs and remoulding the team - which may mean a losing season or two and I don't want to be shown the door right away.

b) Have played the latest demo. On the previous meetings screen (glad that is back) is it possible to have that cool graph come back which shows where the teams are/were on the league table across each round of matches? I loved seeing that as it provided a guide as to how teams were travelling in a great visual way.

Thanks very much
Kosta
ps - wanted to post this on the SI forums but for some reason I can't seem to get on them...

Nope , but with smaller teams they will expect less from you so the changes of being sacked if you do bad are less..

Kosta if that bothers you, you can always retire the just sacked guy, create a new guy (funny, he has the same name etcetera), and assign him back to the team. Voila

I think I know what you are looking for. If you go to the League Table and click on the number on the left (the club's place in the table) there is a graph that comes up that charts the rise and fall of team points for each round. I think this has always been a part of CM/FM - I don't think it ever went away. If this isn't what you are looking for, I can't help you

Thanks guys most helpful.

Well spotted Scooter - you are dead right, that is what I was after. In CM01/02 it used to come up automatically on the past meetings screen (I am pretty sure). I had never thought to click the numbers next to the league table... I love it!!

Hmmmm... I wonder if there are any other little "gems" in FM2005 I am missing?
