Probability Football Week #11 Results

The timid or conservative were not going to win this week. Most games held to form, there were lots of big point spreads, and lots of apparent obvious winners.

In the FOFC group, 16 people entered, and the worst score was 158. Then 2nd worst score was 375. it was that kind of week.

Congrats to our winner this week, VPI97 who was the most agressive of us all. His 903 points has to be the best weekly score we've seen all season from anyone. Amazingly enough, it was only 65th best overall this week. So how did he do it? First, by going 12-1 inhis picks(while leaving 3 games blank). The only miss, 65% on Jacksonville. The agressive picks that worked out? 75% on Baltimore, 85% on Minnesota, 95% on Indy, 95% on Pittsburgh, 85% on Tampa Bay, 85% Seattle, 85% Atlanta, 85% Philly, 75% Green Bay, 95% New England. WOW. Nice Job VPI.

2nd this week was Ramzavail with 742. He picked the right week to return after 3 weeks w/o entering picks. He went 13-1 with 2 blank picks(Including Pitt/Cincy). The miss was the same, Jacksonville... 99% Baltimore, 82% Minnesota, 78% Indy, and 89% Philly helped get him up to 742.

Solecism was third on the week with 633. Jim went 13-3, picking Miami at 55%, Jacksonville at 56%, and Cleveland at 57%, none of those hurt too bad. 83% on the Eagles, 81% on Tampa, 73% on Minnesota, 74% on Denver, 70% on the Patriots and a lot of picks inthe 60s give him a great score.

On a personal note, I put up 505, normally a great score, but only good for 9th out of the 16 of us this week. I also went 13-3, but I didn't have enough faith in the Pats(60% only) or Green Bay(55%). I went 75% on the Chargers, Falcons, Eagles, and 70% on the Colts. Missing Cleveland, Jacksonville, and Buffalo winners only.

Congrats to everyone for making this a week with no negative scores at all!
