Confessions of an Economic Hit Man
I'm just finishing it and I have to say I reccomend it to basically everybody. (Amazon link: Confessions...) It's been an eye opening read for me. At times Perkins does seem to be a little paranoid, but he presents the world and the way it works in a very compelling way. I wouldn't pay too much attention to the Publishers Weekly review in that Amazon link, it's overly negative and bizarrely combative. The book is a tremendous look at a worldview that is more than convincing and makes a strong case for the lack of separation between the government and large corporations, without being a partisan love or whine-fest. I've really enjoyed it, felt like sharing. Anybody else looking at this one?
