Week 13 in the NFL

I apparently don't see one, so here it is.

Many interesting match-ups today, with GB/Philly as the biggest one.

Dadgum I hate that call. 1st and goal with T.J. running over people on the last play, and a pass??? Tipped and intercepted.

As long as Vick keeps throwing into triple coverage, he can make the DL look as stupid as he wants.

As rule of thumb, anything bad that happens to your team today must start out in your post with "Dadgum"

Jay Taylor, good from 50 yards!!! If you don't know who I'm talking about, it explains why he received a standing ovation before and after the FG attemp.

And wtf - Dolhpins 21, Bills 14 in the 1st. They want to challenge the Bengals/Browns for most useless high scoring game of the season.

Correct. I know, it's kind of goofy to give your kicker a stand ovation before a kick, but it was kind of funny to watch them standing and cheering.

To throw a TD pass to Torry Holt, in case Bears fans are watching updates while suffering through Chad Hutchinson.

Palmer just throws a BOMB to Chad Johnson for 51 yards, yet again we are in their territory, maybe we can make something of it.

4th down, and again we'll try a FG. This time Shayne will drain it, he's very good, 53 was just too long for him. 41 yarder right down the middle. 3-3.

Palmer has looked good, despite this last clearly overthrown ball on 3rd and 3. 13 of 16, 129 yards.

Pennington is very sharp. I think he's 9/10 (the only incomplete pass an INT though).

Texans lead 7-6 at halftime though.

If I were the Falcons, I'd trade Peerless Price for a couple of kicking tees and a face shield for Vick. Was that three drops on one drive?

Agreed. Imagine what Vick would look like with recievers who actually made plays on the ball.

Crumpler has done a pretty good job, but ya- Price has been a$42 million waste. A first round draft pick this fall on a WR might be nice.

We spent one this year. If anyone has seen Michael Jenkins, please tell him the season started.

Crumpler has been excellent, but he and Dunn are the only players on the team with soft hands.

Of course Vick seems to have forgotten how to hold the ball. How much you want to bet he is playing with a concussion?

Jenkins was fantastic at OSU - unspectacular but solid possession receiver, hopefully he'll see more action next year.

Dude's a stiff. Atlanta would have been better off if they forfeited that pick and not taken anyone.

Since I've only seen him in one game all season, I have no idea. I would say he must look real bad in practice. The fact that the Falcons rarely use more than two WR (heck, they rarely use two WR) doesn't give him much of a shot at playing.

Did any of my fellow Falcon fans think we had a shot in this one (before it started)? To me, it set up for a no-brainer loss.

And we blow yet another chance. FUCK.

Palmer in Baltimore's territory, overthrows WIDE OPEN CHAD JOHNSON and instead throws a perfect bomb to Ed Reed, who starts to return it, FUMBLES, McAllister picks it up and goes about 60 yards.

20-3 Ravens.

Really? It was the constant theme on the radio this week. Desperate teams at home generally win.

The referees in this Jets/Texans game are fuckin horrid. They called intentional grounding on a play where Johnson and Carr got mixed up and Carr threw to where nobody was and a few plays before that they called a block in the back on the Jets and then picked up the flag and called no penalty which cost the Texans badly. the last 3 plays have taken about 6 hours thanks to refs having no clue what the fuck they're doing.

We make it a game with 10:39 left on another TD for Chad Johson. 20-17, Ravens.

Palmer has really thrown 2 bad passes this game.

His line is looking nice. 23/27, 250 yards, 2 TD, 1 INT

Crazy shit going on during the Colts-Titans game. The Titans have kicked three on-side kicks in the first quarter alone!

Geez, even if I'm a Pats fanatic.. was it really necessary to throw bombs on 2nd and 3rd and 22 from the 44 when you're up 35-7???

Curtis Martin is just rolling today, and has (at lest temporarily) passed Jerome Bettis to move into 5th all-time. He's less than 300 yards behing Eric Dickerson as well.
