the "real" gilligans island

So I had the misfortune of catching the last 10 minutes of this crap while waiting for the family guy to start, and my questions are this. Why would anyone watch this crap and how do they not get sued by cbs and survivor?

I haven't had a chance to watch it, but any show that has both Nicole Eggert and Rachel Hunter can't be all that bad...

I watched some of the first episode. It was like watching a cowboy get stomped by a bull at the rodeo. You want to look away, but you can't. You just have to watch a little longer. Both situations are very scary.

AND, one of the Mary Ann's IS very cute.

I watched it too, not because Nicole Eggart is on there in a bikini or anything.

Poor Nicole, I did miss some of last night's episode due to kids running amuck.

Then I watched Classmates or Class Reunion.

I've seen the last two episodes. Eggert is no longer on the show, she lost in her duel with Rachel Hunter, who is only a few years away from looking like Brigitte Nielson. That's not the chick I remember, the one Kip Winger practically killed himself over when she left him for Rod Stewart.

That dorky Gilligan guy was great. Too bad he had to lose to the young, attractive Gilligan, so he and Mary Ann can give the show some sexual tension. Gilligan Chris is so far from the real Gilligan, at least Gooner fit the profile. Every time I see Chris, I think it's Matt Damon playing Gilligan. Not quite the "real" Gilligan's Island.

The others seem pretty plausible, although the millionaires need to be more upper class, afraid to get dirty-type people. They don't really fit the profile, either.

I kept thinking they were going to say the Gilligan that got to stay was the one who lost the challenge (only telling them that afterwards, of course).

Rachael Hunter is awesome. She seems to be a really down to earth, cool gal. Somebody you'd want to go have a Foster's with. The millionaire's wife is a nut (in a good way). She'd be a tiger in the the sack. And Mary Ann is serious eye candy. What's not to love?

Yeah, I got that impression about the millionaire's wife when she said she couldn't catch fish even if she flashed her tits.

She does all these weird animal sounds too. I have really grown to like her.
