Injury bug-has anyone seen this?
I was playing a game with the Cowboys when my CB Tyrone Williams went down with a serious injury. He was already playing with a minor knock, but this one put him out for the year(ruptured achillies) Funny thing is this however...later in the game he was making tackles. How can this be? If the guy is out , he's out right? I think this is clearly a bug. I don't know if Jim will address it however.

Its not uncommon for people to play with severe injuries.
Ray Ferraro (NHL) played in his final playoffs with a torn ACL. Bob Stoops if i recall played with two blown out ACLs. So it can happen. |

Guys sometimes finish a game despite serious injuries. For example, McNabb threw 4 touchdowns after breaking a bone. I think FOF accurately simulates this.

I think it depends on the position and nature of injury...I can tell you this...there's no way a CB could finish a game with a ruptured achillies

In fact, I think this is maybe something that happens in response to depth cart issues. Eg. there aren't enough players at a position if one gets hurt, so instead of using a safety, like in real life, the cpu refuses to allow the injured player to leave the game. that's what I think might be happening here.
