I'm going to st louis today with my girlfriend? any advice?

Me and my girlfriend are going to St Louis today to sight see and stuff. Were staying at the Hyatt Regency. Any advice on a nice restaurant or things we should do?

Off the top of my head: the Arch, of course. Lesser known but still worth seeing is the Old Courthouse. Union Station is worth a look. The Forest Park area has a number of free or inexpensive things to see (a great zoo, history museum, Science Center, art museum). Historic St. Charles (northwest of STL) is duded up nice for Christmas.

Lots of restaurant ideas, depending on what you are seeking. For Italian, try just about any place on The Hill (ask the hotel concierge for directions). Then there's the Soulard area (again, just ask). If you like brew pubs, I'd highly recommend The Tap Room (Schlafly brew pub). Squires is a great place. If you wanna drop some serious jack, Tony's is generally considered the top shelf in STL.

If you have more specific questions or food in mind, feel free to drop me a PM.

In fact, stay out of St Louis altogether and come to Kansas City instead

I second checking out "The Hill". For actual restaurants, I would try to go to Dominics if you want a "date atmosphere". If you are simply looking at food quality, you can't go wrong with Zias. Their toasted ravoli is the best.
