What resolution do you use?
Considering the days of 640x480 are long gone, 800x600 rarely used, and 1024x768 is starting to become less used, what resolution do you use?

I know alot has to do with monitor size, but I've been using 1280x720 at work due to the fact I have a 21" monitor there. At home I use 1024x768, but I've been thinking about bumping it up.

1280x1024 is the native setting for the Viewsonic A90f+ that I use so I go with that.

I cant stand low resolutions. I will generally put it on whatever the highest resolution my current monitor will support with good refresh rates. If I have trouble reading text, I just increase the text size. Higher resolution text is easier to read anyway (if made the same size by bumping up the font size).

With LCDs, you are pretty much stuck with the native resolution.

1024 x 768 on a 19" CRT. Anything bigger and the stuff is too small...and I'm too lazy to tweak the font sizes.

at work, I'm on a 17" and run at 800x600

1600x1200 on my left monitor and 1024x768 on the right one.

Seriously, if you have a spare monitor and dual output from gfx card - do it, everything becomes more conveneint...

One of my machines at my previous employer was running 1280x1024, but the only reason for that was because I needed the extra room for Director.

I traditionally despise higher resolutions than 1024. Don't want to need a damn magnifying glass to read text.

I had been using 1024 x 768 for several years. I'm now at 1280 x 1024, the highest my monitor can output.

1024x768 on my 17" monitor (highest it will go).
