Thumbs up Go Gonzaga!

You just gotta love the Zags. They are now 12-1 with only a loss to #1 Illinois and wins over such top teams as Georgia Tech, Washington, and yesterday at powerhouse Oklahoma State. And this was supposed to be a relatively "down" year for them as I recall.

They have truly become an elite basketball program.

I've been thoroughly impressed with them. You'd have a hard time finding a team that has played a tougher schedule to this point.

Even in their loss against Illinois, they never gave up and battled back in the second half. Who knows what the game would have been like if Knight would have played.

They have quite a few new fans in Illinois. Partially because it helps the RPI, but also because they're enjoyable to watch.

I'm rooting for the 'Zags - the better they do, the better the UW looks (their only loss so far is to Gonzaga). Too bad for the Huskies Brandon Roy was hurt when they played the 'Zags; would've been interesting to see both teams playing at full health.

Gonzaga's played a lot of teams on their off nights the past six seasons.

WOW! What a game to watch!! We finally beat a good team.

Honestly, I think this is the best game Quinn has ever coached, in fact, it looks like he is starting to coach the team... but maybe he has some kids that listen instead of just shooting the ball.

The Zags look to be for real. They knocked off my Jackets awhile back in pretty convincing fashion. Morrison looked very good that night hitting just about any shot he threw up.

I agree. Although Cam is right when he says OSU had an off night, that doesn't mean Gonzaga's not a very good team. When they played the Cowboys, it wasn't just Morrison. It seemed like every shot they put up they made - Morrison, the dude with the funky beard, and his back-up Batista I think all seemed to hit just about everything. OSU came back from 16 down, but every time they pulled close, Gonzaga sunk their shots.

Gonzaga will have a very good season, and I wouldn't want to face them early in the NCAA tournament when they inevitably get a lower seed than they deserve.

I try to, but sometimes that state just can't be avoided unfortunetly.

Come March, maybe Gonzaga will have the chance to knock them out of the tourny.

The Zags have been for real for a few years now. They always "surprise" teams in the south or the east but on the west coast they aren't a mid-major, they're a legit team. Now they may not go far in the tourney but they are one scary ass 8 seed.

Every true son, so happy hearted,
Skies above us are blue.
There's a spirit so deep within us,
Old Missouri here's to you.
(RAH, RAH, RAH)
When the band plays the Tiger war song,
And when the fray is through,
We will tramp, tramp, tramp around the Columns,
With a cheer for old Mizzou!
Hit it!
HOORAY, HOORAH, MIZZOU, MIZZOU.
HORRAY, HOORAH, MIZZOU, MIZZOU.
HORRAY, HOORAH, AND A BULLY FOR OLD MIZZOU,
RAH, RAH, RAH, RAH.
MIZZOU-RAH, MIZZOU-RAH, MIZZOU-RAH, TIGERS
