Well I can't say anything is immediately jumping out at me. They've all made the Super Bowl, without the Bengals, Panthers, and Chargers being the only 3 not to win it.

I don't see anything along the lines of conference affiliation either.

Good question. They have won the Super Bowl multiple times, but so have the Raiders and Giants. They are the only team there to repeat as Super Bowl champions though ,FWIW.

I see nothing to do with team movement or stadiums either.

Could it be draft-related? IE, drafted #1, or traded for the #1 pick, or something similar?

All these teams had a losing record after appearing in a Super Bowl.

That may or may not be true, but that's not what I'm looking for.

Having the Cowboys on there twice but not consecutively, implies that it's an ordered list of some sort. We also know that it must be the sort of list that a team can appear on multiple times, meaning it could be single-game or single-season related but not all-time.

Working from the super bowl theory, my guess is something along the lines of "most yards passing in a single super bowl by team", with the year's removed.

We also know that it has to be something recent, or "reaching into" recent years, since the Panthers have not been around that long.

any QB, or a starting QB? Because Brad Johnson and Stan Humphries definitely were not in their first years with their respective teams.

Eddie George stumped me (I had to look at a list of Heisman winners). And it took me much too long to gorget that Tim Brown wasn't on the Raiders anymore.

It was pretty wild seeing the names who weren't active, as well as those who came after Vinny and Flutie.

In reverse order:

Eric Crouch
Ricky Williams
Danny Wuerffel
Rashaan Salaam
Charlie Ward
Gino Torretta
Desmond Howard
Ty Detmer
Andre Ware
Barry Sanders (!)
Bo Jackson (!)
