Drive for Emerson, formerly known as Emerson Electric but they dropped half of the name for some reason. Big company, makes lots of shit. Most of the stuff I carry would be electric motors that go in Whirlpool, Frigidaire, and other appliances. Then the Copeland compressors go into air conditioners and stuff like that. Also Rigid/Bosch power tools.

I understand we make fans, too. They even put them on our trailers. Never seen one though, in one of my trailers or in a store.

I own and run a web design/online advertisement company...that is the polite way to say that i work designing and advertising porn and casino websites since 5 years ago

Before this i worked with my father in a computers shop/repair service that we still own, since i was 14 year old. At same time i studied at school and later at university. I left the university before finishing the Computers Technician career to fund my own bussines (the porn one) as i felt i was loosing my time in the university, i whish i thought about this bussines 2 years before when the boom started in 1998.

My wife and I own/run an advertising agency. A heavy concentration in media planning & placement, but we're pretty much a full-service shop, handling things ranging from endorsement negotiations to focus groups/research to creative.

I'm a Senior Production Planner for a coach manufacturing company called Prevost Car (www.prevostcar.com). I basically set the schedule and the production mix for a production line that employs some 600-700 workers. We should make around 600 or so of these coaches, either long distance touring coaches or motorhome shells ready for conversion.

I am a Lead Business Systems Analyst for an investor education company. Running joke around the office is that I am the CDO (Chief Documentation Office). Bascially, I get to meet with the end user document their request, go back to my desk, flow chart and spec out the proposed project, take it to the lead developer, sit with him, figure out technically, what they can and can not do, come up with a time line/time frame, go back to my desk, technical spec it and flow chart, combine both reports, perform a Cost Benefit analysis on the requested project as well as determining if it works within the business rules and functions of the company.

I also own my own web development/advertising/marketing agency. I do a lot of stuff for small businesses, however I did have a couple of large clients (One credit union, another one was tied with a relegious company, that focused on providing their ministry with stores, shops, chat programs so they could ensure they dealt with good wholesome people like themselves)

And last but not least, I sell AFLAC, have done so for over 2 years, it is a nice part time gig that is slowly building a nice monthly residual check for me.

I'm in the Navy. By trade, I'm an electronics technician. In the past, I've worked on Shipboard Nontactical ADP Program (SNAP), AIMS MKXII IFF, UPX-29 IFF, as well as a specific switchboard, SB-4229, and Shore Communications equipment.

Right now, I'm billeted to Great Lakes, IL. I'm here for instructor duty. Up until the new year, I was teaching about 500 students (in blocks of 250 at a time) Navy Military Training (NMT). It was a lot of fun, the students enjoyed it as much as I did. I didn't go by the book very often.

I was also in charge of civilian contracts for the building I worked in. Basically I signed off on any kind of corrective or preventative maintenance, as well as answered any questions. I reported to the main building about audits and spot inspections I conducted.

Since the new year, our commanding officer has made a lot of changes to our base, and I've been reassigned. They took away my contract supervising and my teaching time, but have me in the same building. About the only thing I'm in charge of right now is to make sure students get to the schoolhouse for training. If they don't, I notify the student's barracks. A few other minor things sprinkled in there, but not much. Yesterday I didn't even change into uniform while I was there.

I recently (December) picked up a second job. I work at GNC here on the base as well.

I pick on the Navy all the time (because I've worked with you folks for nearly 6 of my 14 years in service). One of the most notable projects I had in the Air Force was working with the Turkish Army to get Naval Task Forces in the Med vital information about suspect shipping in time for them to decide if they need to interdict or not. That's everybody working together and it was very rewarding. Especially getting one of your Navy Chief's to try and drink the Turks under the table on Turkish Raki. That was ugly.

By day, I am a multi-billionare playboy who runs my own company here in Gotham. By night... it's none of your damn business.

Actually I work at a radio station, pushing buttons, keeping shows on the air, bleeping idiot callers who thikn that it's alright to say "fuck" on the air. I also program the automation, so that when you hear a commercial that is streatched from 60 seconds to 120, or the news doesn't come on and there is dead air, everybody blames me.

I'm Superman.

But in the daytime, I work as a processor for the escrow arm of First American Title, and on the weekends I still work at my old college job of waiting tables at TGIFriday's.

I have also worked as a journalist, including a stint as a community beat reporter for the LA Times, have done some fictional writing on the side (but yet to actually get myself an income with it), and have taught myself some programming with the intent to someday work on my own text sims.

Graduating in May with a B.S. in Management from Rutgers. Currently looking for work in financial services, consulting, all that other crap. If anyone is looking for an underling in the NYC area, give me a buzz.

For the past year and a half I worked part-time during school/full-time during breaks at New Jersey One Call as an operator. Your state has something similar. Anytime you (contractors, utility companies, homeowners) are planning on digging, you are supposed to call and register with your state so the proper utility companies can come to your dig site and literally "mark-out" all the utility lines in the area, so your dumbass doesn't blow anything up.
