What Now?

Ever since they said Matt's last name wrong during the Heisman Trophy ceremony and that other guy mistakenly took the trophy I've been wondering what I should do about my name here. Would it be within the rules to make another userid called "MJ4H" and start posting using that since most people would know how I am? I'd lose my post count but I don't care about that type of thing.

What do you think?

I'd order an investigation into voter fraud within the Heisman ranks.

I was skeptical when Matt Leinart won, it was obvious someone was amiss.

Shouldn't the mods be able to change your name for you? Or do we not do that here to avoid guys constantly asking for it, which I suppose I could understand....

I say keep it. It's yours, and the content of it is fairly irrelevant in my opinion.

Leave the MattJones4Heisman. I love it. I use Arkansas here at school against all my buddies in NCAA 05 and I only refer to him as Matt Jones For Heisman, not just Matt Jones, thanks to ye.

Don't change that shit.

If you must change your name, I'm sure that SD can do it for you. However, I really see no reason for you to do it...

Yes but he is overrated because he was once that great, not because he is black like McNabb.....

Arkansas did sign Gary Beshears to play QB who everyone thought could be a Heisman. Boy, was he overrated.

If I remember right his dad had something to do with his demise. I don't remember the exact story, but it was basically he was a spoiled brat and didn't know how to react when he didn't get his way at U of A.

Yea, I think his dad hyped him up. He did lead his team to the football state championship which inflated his value. Are you from AR ahbrady?

I've kind of given up on Michael Bishop ever winning the MVP (unless Arena/NFL Europe/CFL count) but I just stuck with the name. And look where it's gotten me.

I got nothing.

Cool. I like following the hogs. Living in hog country made me like them, although my fav. team is still easily Memphis.

I saw Deangelo Williams play in high school. I think he was the best running back I've ever seen in high school. I was devastated when he signed with Memphis.

I think a lot of Arkansas fans just played it off. I do not think anyone thought he was going to be any good. Arkansas had signed a RB from Memphis who turned out to be a no one while Memphis got Williams.

I know it sounds like I'm just saying this now that he turned out to be so good, but I'm telling you when I saw him play, he was the best I've seen. I didn't expect him to do as well as he has because I didn't think much of Memphis' program, but they were better than Arkansas this year, so I guess he made a good choice.
