Anyone know if a database is available that includes A-League? I figure it's possible by swapping out teams and league structure with another league, but I want to see if it's been done before I try. I tried going to the sigames site to search, but there's no place to register for their forums (which is required to read threads apparently)

I haven't seen it tried. It don't think it should be hard. If I didn't spend a few days the past week updating my database and getting everything the way I want, I'd try. Maybe do the A-League, PDL and other leagues as a league.

I don't think you can accurately swap out a league like that - there are too many league rules, etc. that are hard-coded into the game (and can't be modified by the provided editor). I'm pretty sure you can change team names and possibly locations, but getting the A-league to interact with the MLS and other world leagues probably wouldn't work quite right.
As far as the SI forums go (I joined there long before I joined here), I think you can read certain forums (like general quesitons and the bug forums), but you can't post and you can't do searches. You can try to join up over there - it isn't as bad as some people say. It just takes a little while to get approved (it's definitely not instant). |

well, it won't be perfectly accurate, but the teams will be there. I'm not sure if the created players will be American or if they will be from the country that was "replaced"
