2 years,$19 Mln. Not bad, given the market rate, and although I find it crazy to pay that much for a closer- he is the best in the NL. Doesnt buy out any FA years though- which is interesting.

You positive it doesn't buy out his first FA year? Through 2006 he'll have 5 full MLB seasons and partials for 99/00/01 which *might* add up to the 6th full year needed.
