Hooters, Buffalo Wild Wings, and your local bar probably have pretty good wings.

You are an evil, evil man. Fucking Borschevsky. Fucking Bob Rouse.

27 years. Man, that's a long time. I wasn't even born in 1967.

I know, I know.

If my hockey team ever had a streak of... I don't know...42 years without a Cup, I'd probably just give up and peel off my own skin.

Ya just might, rabbit... Ya just might.

But just how sweet would it be if say... I don't know... after 42 years your hockey team went on to win 3 Cups in... I don't know... fiveimes years. That'd be pretty nice, no? May give a fella a few memories for a lifetime.

Hell, at this point it might be 42 YEARS between games.

I heard today something that made me proud. Of all the markets that the NHL is now in, only one team's tv broadcasts have lost audience since they started replacing the content on the local FOX Sports to fill in for the games that should be on. Care to guess what team has the best damn fans?

I feel sorry for all those who have labored for so long without Stanley Cups.

(Devils fan checking in )

No truely, I do. But couldn't you guys at least done something useful like stop the Rangers from winning the Cup in 94? I know my Devils failed in that attempt, but we were fairly new at the time .

That was Vancouver, remember? I remember on Channel 4 they went live to the Garden. I think it was Len Berman outside who askes this guy in the crowd "The Rangers just won the Stanley CUp. How does it feel?" The guy trew his hands in the air and screamed "IT'S FUCKIN' GREAT!!!" They quickly cut back to the studio where Chuck & Sue were just sitting there looking like "That didn't go out on the air, did it?" Chuck then looks at the camer and says something like "Excited Rangers fans, down at the Garden..."

Yes, I remember it was Vancouver, but they weren't the ONLY team with a crack at the Rangers... and Western teams could have knocked Vancouver off.

Though Broduer put in a decent attempt to halt the hated Rangers.

Not according to the NHL Network. Based on their "Classic Games" show, the Rangers are the only team that's played in the last 15 years.

ML....have you noticed Leaf tv plays the Fraser game at LEAST once a week since the strike?

Please tell your wife to keep sharp instruments away from you.

No, I haven't, because I live in Ottawa and we're not allowed to have Leafs TV. It's yet another result of Ottawa's "small man" syndrome when it comes to Toronto and the Leafs.

I went to a college hockey game at Western Michigan last weekend, saw the Broncos beat the Spartans 5-4 despite being outshot something like 50 to 25. The atmosphere was great, the players played their hearts out, and the fans were totally passionate. All things lacking in the NHL. The league has much more to worry about than financial problems, I think its telling that ESPN is getting higher ratings for the crap they put on now than they did with NHL games. The league needs to fix both off- AND on-ice problems if they want to keep from dropping into obscurity.

If Gary Bettman dropped a hockey puck in an empty arena and nobody heard it, does hockey really even exist?

Someone would have to explain to him what a puck is first.
