Gathering Info On TV's

does anyone know of a any site where you can see tv's rated, and will give a nice guide as to the best rated tv's on the market. not that we're in the market now to buy such a tv, but we're going to be starting the process of selling our co-op and buying a house in the next upcoming months, and one of the things we want to do is to take our future basement and make it a mega home theater. already have a high end surround sound system, now i want to read up on which tv's models are rated the best.

links plz, k thnx

Are you looking for a big screen? If you are, you may want to look into getting a Mitsubishi. I may be biased, but I think they are the best on the market.

Does anyone know if any TV out there has a built in Zoom Feature? So you can zoom live tv movies?

Or, better yet remove the damn ticker that runs along the bottom of the screen when I am watching my highlight shows. Nothing makes me madder than witing through a 1 hour show so I can see my team in a brief nightly recap than seeing the end result of the game seconds before the recap comes on.

My mitsubishi 55" HDTV has zoom (along with 5 or 6 other formats)

Bitch of it is I spend over 3 grand on it a year and a half a go and I just saw the same model on sale for $999

If you are looking for an HDTV, this is one of the best values out there:

Our neighbor has it and it is a great TV. Plus, I think you can get it for around $2,800.

dola, I like using CNet to get a list of viable TVs. Then, I go to amazon with the model number and look at the user comments. Amazon tends to have a bunch of user comments because of the high traffic.
