I think they got the movies basically right...but the pot-shots in the fahrenheit 9/11 nominations are just really dumb. for those that dont know, these awards have been handed out for 25 years...obviously for the worst stuff of the year.

Of all the movies mentioned in any of the nominations, I only saw two of 'em: Around the World in 80 Days and Scooby Doo 2. And I thought both were decent enough for what they were, just light entertainment.

And now, perusing the list again, I wonder ... have the Razzies jumped the shark?

You'd think that if you had a nominee in like 5 categories, that would mean you have the worst movie and director... poor farenheit.

and I saw farenheit, along came polly, anchorman, and dodgeball... and I'd have to say yes... ben stiller does indeed suck ass now.

I actually thought that Alien vs Predator was quite good.

I liked Dodgeball and Starsky & Hutch. The only other movie I saw that's mentioned was Raise Your Voice.

I love the Razzies, but I do hope they don't go overboard and give GW, Rumsfeld, Condi all of the awards. Doing so would cause them to momentarilly lose their credibility in holding the irresponsible Hollywood types responsible for the crap they churn out.

I really think they should just give Oliver Stone a lifetime achievement Raspberry, so they won't have to include him every year that he releases a movie. He is dominant as a director, where Raspberries are concerned.

Maybe they are more related to F.A.G. as depicted in Team America?

Anyone hope/think that'll get nominated for an academy award?

I thought white chicks and dodge ball were both funny movies, definitly not worthy of this award. And I still want to see Alexander

They showed a quick clip of her waxing poetic on GW.

I liked Dodge Ball but I couldn't make it through White Chicks. I think the only nomination for Dodge Ball was for Ben Stiller, and he is certainly deserving for a Raspberry.
