FBCB and TPB

Could people please give me their opinions on each of these games.

I have learned a fair amount about TPB on the net. I'm a bit unsure about Fastbreak college basketball as their is not too much info available (though some good stuff here) and their forums are a bit slow as far as activity goes and I see no screenshots with respect to actual game play.

I'm most interested in the "on the court" aspects of these titles as I enjoy the coaching/actual game play the most so comments here are most helpful.

Thank you in advance for your help.
Tony

Just do a search on this board and you will see that we LOVE FBCB, there has been tons of threads about it, tactics etc. TPB2k5 is an awesome game too, i own both (also own FBB and TPB2k3) but i preffer college basketball. You can't go wrong with any of that two games, just choose the one based on the sport you preffer, college or pro.

I probably will be making the plunge with FBCB in the very near future. TPB doesn't do much for me, but only because I don't have much interest in the NBA.

Tony,

FWIW I think you'll be very happy with the "on the court" aspects of TPB 2k5. With TPB 2k5 you have the ability to have custom designed home courts for each team plus you get a 2D graphical representation of the action complete with sounds (which you can also customize). There's also many in game coaching options like being able to set your defensive matchups, ability to work the referees for more calls and ability to call a specific play for a specific player out of a timeout amongst others.

There's also a free trial which lets you play the first 100 days of a season so you can try out the in game coaching for yourself.

If you're interested the demo can be found on this page

Feel free to PM me or email me if you have specific questions.
