Happy Birthday Pizza Lady!

Wherever you may be and whatever you may be doing, I would just like to say Happy Birthday, and thank you for all those times when you would give us two slices of pizza instead of one against the official dining hall rules. Your pleasant smile and cheerful demeanor was a distinct contrast from the dour expressions and disinterested attitudes of your fellow catering staffers, and it never failed to brighten up our day.

¡Salud!

Figures this would happen as soon as Simms got a job. I blame him entirely.

It's not like he didn't have any job before, right?

(I thought he had been commuting for 150mi each way, through 8 feet (7 feet Canadian) of yellow snow each day.)

I had been until mid-November. I'd been jobless since then.

And it's down again while they restart MySQL. Should be a few more minutes.

Some of us don't have that sort of special ability. Quietness, that is.

British mostly, I think. I'm pretty sure I learned "apologize", but I'm sure there are some old-school canucks out there who still use the "s".

The summer in Ocean City, Maryland, yes.

Ocean City, NJ - now that's another lesson entirely.
