FM: Disappearing Scouts?

I recently switched jobs taking a position at Juventus in 2010. I go to the staff screen and see that I have five excellent scouts available to look for players. However, when I go to the Scouting screen, the game pauses for a bit and then none of the scouts' names show up meaning I can't assign them to searches. Instead of seeing the scout's name and where he is assigned to, I get " is unassigned" (or something close to that) and can't access the names of the scouts to assign them to new searches. Anyone else have this problem?
