Was reading the local paper and just found out that Tacoma is getting a team for the IBL. Anyone else hear about the IBL?

The rules... Immediate inbound rule (refs inbound ball immediately after a whistle), 48 minute game, 22 second shot clock, 5 fouls per player, 8 second backcourt rule and 2 timeouts per half.

Sounds like it will be a flop but I'm gonna check it out once it starts up in April.

I thought the league already existed. Hmm...it'll survive, but I guess they're trying to gain market share in cities that the NBA has no interest in, providing owners with a cheap money source and fans with basketball without going to an NBA game..

whatever works, i guess.
