Heads UP: Law&Order Episode, 2/16/05
Even if you hate the show, next week may be interesting (or stupid) as it is based on a death at a basketball game where a brawl, ala Detroit, breaks out.

Rumor is that the "Ben Wallace" character gets convicted and asks the judge "Is this because I'm a lesbian?"

Never seen the show, so I can't really comment on how it works...but based on commercials I've seen, all they do is take whatever is in the news and do a show on it.
I guess it could be cool in a "lets see how THEY handle it," but I'd have a hard time dealing with the lack of creativity. |

Back in the old days of Law and Order, they would take a news item and make a show out of it occasionally. Once, maybe twice, in a season. Kind of a little gimmick to get interest in the show going. Most shows do this. Throw out a show or two that's based on some kind of gimmick to make it a "fun" episode.
Now.....it seems like all they do is take news items and make shows from them. Main reason why I stopped watching it. |
