League forming now

The Franchise Football League is now taking applications for potiental owners.
Details:
1. Real NFL teams
2. Original NFL cities to start. Moves will be allowed.
3. NFL player names will be used when possible. First 2 drafts will use the available draft files for 2004/2005
4. 25 round allocation draft . Time consuming I know, however, I want the owners to create their teams from scratch.
5. Two games a week to be played on Tuesdays and Fridays.
More details will be provided as the league begans to fill.

I am a 2 year vet of FOF-MP. I have been involved in half a dozen leagues at one time or another, although I do not post here at the FOF forums. If you are interested in joining, please visit the forums and stake claim to your team. The allocation draft will commence when enough owners have signed up and are ready.

although 1 game a week isn't enough to hold owner interest. you gotta go with the 2 games a week schedule from the start. the first year is crucial, gotta get a nucleus/core of good owners. the first season would take like 1 year basically real time.

Yes, and others agreed with you. I have now changed the schedule to the 2 games a week.

i want to let you know in advance how difficult that draft is going to be. Have no preconceieved notions it will be a ton of work and you, my friend, have taken a huge, monumental task and i applaud you for it. Great luck to you.

Dammit, this is tempting so that I could finally have my Cowboys in a MP league, but I have too much on my plate as it is.

Damn.

Yes, I tottally agree. However, I have the advantage of some of the best owners around, and have surrounded myself with outstanding assistants. For most of us, this is our 3rd or 4th league we are currently in, so nothing is new. It won't be perfect, however, it will be a major improvment over "other" leagues I watched start that turned into a clusterf*$k.

No, in fact, I was in the USFL for a short time and enjoyed it. I would still be there today, however, at that time I was in 6 leagues at once and decided to scale back my teams and concentrate on just a couple. The USFL was run well and I had no issues there!

Teams are set, files are in, the draft is set to start Monday, however, teams will most likley start drafting ASAP.We are still looking for owners to fill the following general manager positions:

Baltimore
Atlanta
New Orleans
Arizona

This is a 25 round allocation draft. This is your last chance to create your own team, rather then take over someone else mistakes. Get in NOW.

And then there was 4. Four teams still remain without GM's:

Cincinnati
N.Y. Giants
New Orleans
Arizona

Arizona is set to draft 26th, the Bengals 24th, and the Saints 28th. The FFL draft is currently on the 20th pick of the first round. Pick your team up NOW!
(The Giants first round pick was RDE Jason Taylor)

We are currently in the fifth round of the draft. With a ton of good players left, we have 3 openings in the league:

Pittsburgh
Jacksonville
Dallas

This is a 25 round allocation draft, real NFL teams, real NFL players whenever possible. Games are simmed twice a week, Tuesdays and Fridays.

If you are interested, all it takes is a post to claim your team in a NEW league.

Round 11 has started and we are searching for 3 owners:
Pittsburgh
Atlanta
Dallas

With the start of round 11, we still have a ton of good players left to be drafted and some of the best owners in the entire FOF. With only 3 teams left and 14 round to go, get in now, and create your team from scratch! Just post in the "General Manager" section of the forums to claim your team today.
