Wow, quite a scary movie. I still have chills from it.

I really enjoyed it, too, although Cary Elwes is laughibly bad in it.

i thought the movie was rather disturbing from the previews so i steered clear of it. some of the movies are so hardcore i almost prefer a monster movie like Nightmare on Elm Street cuz it's less realistic. i hate movies like Saw cuz i always think they give psycho's ideas.

i thought saw was gonna be a straight up horror movie. but it was much more psychological than blood and guts.

and the end is pretty much impossible to guess.

Doesn't it come out on DVD this Friday?

In any case, Mrs. Eaglesfan's favorite genre of movies is horror. She has been reminding me for months to get this for her when it comes out.

Today. My wife gets to blockbuster when it opens on Tuesdays. She didn't get Mr. 3000 though.

The ending was very creepy. Yep, the dogs will be sleeping in our room tonight.

Cool. I'm on call for the next three nights, so I'll probably wait til Friday to get it anyway. Looking forward to seeing it with her.

I watched that movie in the theatre and trust me....I didn't enjoy the extremely long walk to our car at night in a creepy parking lot! I must have checked the back seat 20 times!! I was pleasently surprised it wasn't alot of gore. I like the mind-messer movies more, like Silence of the Lambs. I recommend Saw!! It's sooo twisted!

just watched this one last night... good flick. Interesting twist at the end... I am going to watch this one again to see if everything adds up. Overall, makes you think a bit. I liked it!

I was a big-time non-fan of this movie. There were lots of inconsistencies in the movie, and the twist didn't get me. It also got pretty cliche toward the end leading up to the twist. I thought it was a very good idea that didn't get executed very well.

I basically agree. It's one of those things where on one hand I am glad to see this do well and/or get credit rather than Monster in Law and etc., but on the whole the movie had a lot of flaws. The second one was worse, though.

Did you know that the original title was going to be "Do You See What I Saw?" But it didn't test well.

I haven't seen the second one, but your assessment doesn't surprise me. This just seemed like one of those movies that shouldn't have a sequel. The first movie had a fairly unique idea and ran with it. It works well once, but you can't really expand on the idea for a new movie.

Even though I didn't really like Saw, I am glad it got made. I would rather see someone not-quite-succede with an original idea than just go with a generic formula.
