Maybe some of these hockey players can become figure skaters, work with a snotty beotch partner and win an Olympic gold.

Doug: If we're gonna work together, you might try and be polite.
Kate: You're not gonna be here long enough to make it worth the effort.
Doug: You don't think I can put up with your shit?
Kate: I don't think you can skate!
Doug: There are only two things I do really well, sweetheart, and skating is the other one!
Kate: God, you really are a Neanderthal . . .
Doug: I hate to tell you, but I'm from Minnesota . . . south of Neanderthal!

Good riddance. The English Premier League is filling the bill quite nicely.

So can we now, finally, once and for all scratch "NHL" as an option in the annual What's Jim's Next Game poll?

If I never order NHLCI again, I can probably get away with keeping the Sports Pack...which will be infinitely more rewarding filled with a variety of sports from players/owners that are not out destroy their league.

A good point. This also poses an interesting design question for the next release of (NHL) Eastside Hockey Manager.

Reality is that only the NHL is taking the year off. All of the other leagues are going as usual, aside from hypocritical NHL vets signing for the low level salary cap leagues...
