WSM 2005 question

This is probably a really stupid question but here goes. How do you get the game to advance to the next day without having to have your manager go on vacation? My forward continue button is always grayed out and won't advance. I had Champ Man 2001-02 and remember that you could advance the season without going on holiday. Any help would be appreciated.

You don't click on the forward arrow. You click on the word Continue.

fwiw, hitting the space bar is the same as clicking on the "continue" button. Also, when watching a game, hitting the space bar is like clicking the "pause/play" button. Since I've found about the space bar shortcut, I rarely click on continue anymore...

Another WSM 2005 question. Can people with WSM join online games with people with FM?

Hey... that's a great tip . I've just been hitting continue and Play/Pause. My mouse gets to rest some more now!

WSM and FM are basically the same game with some wording that is different between the two. WSM was released in North America while FM was released elsewhere around the world. From what I understand, that's the gist of it...

dola, and huge improvement over CM4

CM4 was my first try in the CM/FM series and I can tell you that while I had fun with CM4, I enjoy FM2005 much, much more...

You don't get words like bloody and wanker in WSM.

FM, any other brilliant keyboard shortcuts you know about? I will definitely be using the space bar now. Moving the mouse over 'continue' wasn't too much of a hassle, but the space bar will be much better.

Ajaxab, the only other one I use is the one I'm used to, from browsing the web (either with IE of Firefox). The alt+arrow, i.e. either "alt+left arrow" to go back one screen, or the "alt+right arrow" to go forward to the screen you just left. From what I read in the patch talks (the one not yet out) they will change that to simply using the arrow to move either backward or forward in screens. To go with this, the "backspace" key also goes back a screen, this is also one that works with either IE or Firefox. I use that one a lot, expecially when looking at players from the search screen. "click on player's name, look him up, hit backspace to go back to search screen, rinse, lather, repeat"...

Also, hitting the space bar in the tactics screen during a match is the same as clicking on "confirm" or "go back to match"...
