FOF: Most QBs drafted in Round 1 ?

I am in year 2040 and for the first time in any single-player career I have ever ran, 6 quarterbacks were drafted in the 1st round...This is the most I have ever seen. Another 2 quarterbacks were selected in the 2nd round and even these two 2nd rounders look like future stars.

A truely outstanding year for the position : that's a grand total of 8 teams that have reloaded with franchise-caliber QBs.

Ever had that many QBs drafted in the early rounds ??

Sounds like a good year, reminds me of a few years ago, those studs Tim Couch, Ryan Leaf, Akili Smith 1-2-3.

Tell us how they are doing 3-4 years in.

You'd better check your draft history, Short-Dog.

Couch-McNabb-Smith

That's a real stinger. To think if Philly would have pinned Akili as their savior..

You have to love how McNabb wasn't even in the mix for Cleveland (they were on the fence between Couch and Smith). In some strange way it's probably more comforting.
