MP3 File Formats
I just got an iRiver MP3 player and was ready to transfer songs from my computer. I use Real Player on my computer and used it to rip most of my CDs. When I went to transfer the files, it said that .rmj (Real Player format) was not a valid file type on the MP3 player.
How do I get my Real Player formatted songs over to an MP3 or WMA or whatever format? Thanks |

well, first I'd see if Real Player itself will convert them. In lieu of that, you can do a google search to find a program to convert them...

I use DBpowerAMP. You just add codecs for each type of file you want to convert. I'm pretty sure it can convert RA, but I'm not sure about that particular extension. I use it mainly to convert .shn or .flac lossless bootleg files to .wav for burning to disc.
