I'm pumped, my team is the Giants, though. I'm just happy this is free preview of MLB Extra Innings on digital cable week.

MLB.com

has one of the best live scoreboard i seen. if your on the internet, you can follow the game with it. Its free too.

it shows you the score, play by play, pitcher graphic where there throwing the ball at, stats of the game, etc

its pretty cool.

So, did Benitez finish off the 9th? I had to leave with 2 out in the bottom of the 8th.

Let's go Giants!

Get used to saying that, I think. Our infield isn't anything like what it was a year ago, and we have more groundball pitchers this year.

Go figure.

Wow was it a beautiful day at the ballpark -- I've never been to an opening day before today, and what a day it was.

The crowd was electric -- when Schmidt threw that first pitch in there for a strike, it was loud as all hell in there. Of course, after the next pitch ended up in the right field stands...it was quite quiet. Lowe seemed to show flashes of brilliance, but we kept eating away at them with hits here and there -- the errors were nice, but twice we had a guy in scoring position with less than two outs and got nothing for it. I'd like to think that even without the errors, we were in good shape

Glad to see the stolen bases/ no double plays. Also glad to see another team have weak defense and shaky relieving. Right about leaving them in scoring position. The worst was Pedro and Alou swinging at the first pitch with men on 2nd and 3rd.

Lucky bastard..

Seriously- Schmidt in person is amazing - never enjoyed watching a Giant's pitcher as much.
