OT: Weird Wireless Situation

I'm trying to get a second laptop to connect to my wireless router... The connection shows up, I click connect, and enter the key.

The log of wireless connections to my router will now show two separate MAC addresses connected, and the description of the connection on my second laptop says that it's connected. However, there's bolded "Not connected" text on the second laptop, and I can't access the net.

I find this weird because two places indicate there's a connection and one place indicates there isn't...

Anyone have any idea what the problem could be?

Do you have windows XP service pack 2 installed? My wireless card needed an updated driver to work with service pack 2 but was fine with the original driver before that. I got messages saying connected in the lower right icon but when I zoomed in on the card it said not connected.
