FastFL Crowns NY GIANTS as 2005-6 Champions

The Giants win SB II for the FastFL as they defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers. The league has gotten rid of those who do not have the time to participate at a minimum level and have some openings heading into the next season. This league is not for the weak at heart. It's fast paced and it's all about the GM aspect more so than the coaching aspect. If that's for you, then join up. visit http://www.freewebs.com/fastfl/ and be part of our THIRD season of simming

It's a pretty fun league. It's almost like playing a SP league (due to the speed of the league) but without the hassles of an exploitable AI.

Just exploitable owners!

Great league. Love the pace.

While it is oriented more towards GM duties, I wouldn't downplay the effect of good gameplanning.

Join up, give it a try, you'll find it habit forming.

I really like the pace of this league and if you have time to dedicate yourself, it is really worth joining, there are some good gm's there.

Ahh, I didn't see this thread until just now. As GM of the FastFL Giants, I accept your congratulations, and acknowledge my general awesomeness.

I'd also like to take this opportunity to point out that this is an excellent league. It's taking a little time, as with any new league, but we're steadily filling up. The league is well organised, with lots of dedicated GMs and good commish. The website is excellent, as it allows you to upload exports directly to the web-page (i.e., no need for emails) -- this is a very convenient little time saver.

Most imprtantly, it's taken us about a month and a half to get through what it takes other leagues about 8 months to handle. You don't have to worry about taking over a bad team, since you won't have to spend years (real-time) rebuilding it.

Give us a look.

I just removed three owners so there's now three more teams open. We're in the midst of free agency so there's still a chance to get in and make the team "yours" for the next season.

Teams open:
Colts
Jets
Raiders
Cardinals
Panthers
Vikings
Seahawks
Redskins

We just finished the 2006 draft LIVE yesterday, and it went very smoothly. There are still a few teams open, so join up now to get in before the '06 season. Teams currently available are:

Indianapolis
New York Jets
Oakland
Carolina
Dallas
Minnesota

Seriously, if you're all about building dynasties and not concerned as much with the game to game details then this is the league for you. We've got TWO Champions named already and next week we'll be naming out THIRD.
