FM question

For some reason, I can't seem to withdraw offers to players who I've agreed to sign on Bosman transfers at the end of the season - its feb 1st, and I can withdraw offers from players I'm buying at the end of the season. Is this something put in on purpose for Bosman's only ?

They are two different things. When you make a Bosman offer to a guy and he accepts it, it becomes a binding contract. If you make an offer to buy a player, it is not final until both the team and the player agree to it. Once they agree to it, and you confirm, it becomes binding as well.

Yeah, I know that generally speaking- but in FM, you were usually able to withdraw bosman offers previously agreed to - perhaps this is a change in the new patch. I'm talking specifically about Bosman players- where you could withdraw the offer at a later date.

If so, it would seem to have been a bug that was fixed. It would seem that once you sign a contract, it should be binding.

you can always sell him on. or loan him out. although that runs the risk of pissing people off on your team

I noticed this too the other day. I had always been able to take the offer off the table at the last second in previous versions if I decided I didn't need the player I'd signed on a Bosman. It doesn't seem like this is possible anymore.
