Let the comparisons begin.
From DraftCity.com:
http://www.draftcity.com/viewarticle.php?a=149 There is a lot of debate going around Ohio about OJ Mayo being possibly better than Lebron James. I've only seen OJ play one game, I didn't notice the ability to make everyone around him better like James did but he can certainly shoot better. Bill Walker was just as impressive if not more impressive than Mayo in the game I saw. NCH also has another sophomore Ed Ellis who is 6'11" and looks to be major D1 talent. The only negative I saw in the game, is these kids are very immature. They were up by 20+ with 3 minutes to go and their coach sends in 5 subs to take out the starters, the starters, mainly led by Walker refused to come out of the game so they could get some more dunks in. The dunks were impressive but the attitude made me sick. Quote:

I have no idea how good a ball player this kid is, but his name is horrible OJ Mayo? What are horrible combination of "food" and drink. Ugh.

No argument here, they are both very good though from what I have seen and heard from many people around the state. Mayo won Ohio Mr. Basketball and was 2nd Team USA Today AA as a Sophomore, same honors as James. Another article on Mayo: http://www.breakdownmagazine.com/dai...fm?textID=1414 NCH also has a freshman that started last season that is supposed to be very good as well, he got into foul trouble the game I saw. |

Damnit, people ought to be required to label sad little basketball threads as such in their titles...I actually wasted 2 minutes on this thread...I WANT MY TWO MINUTES!

What? I am saying when Lebron was a sophomore in high school he made everyone around him better, his team didn't have the top 3 players in the state on it and he wasn't that great of a shooter. Mayo is surrounded by some major talent and shoots lights out as a sophomore. |
