To fans of Wargames

Can anyone recommend a decent computer sim of World War I? I can't seem to find anything but table top games and Red Baron.

Sorry, can't help you. Unfortunately I don't think that's a very fertile field for computer wargames.

I can sell you OAW cheap, though.

Who's not a fan? Matthew Broderick, Ally Sheedy, Dabney Coleman, Joshua, "Would you like to play a game?"

WW! as a whole is considered a poor subject for war games. HPSSims / John Tiller does have Jutland game, if you want a naval conflict. Haven't played it though.

found something called ENTENTE - WORLD WAR 1 BATTLEFIELDS. might be worth looking up

WW1 is definitely an area where there are a lot more good tabletop wargames than computer versions of them.

Found what looks like a very promising Mod for Hearts of Iron II. I picked up the game and it is complex but very fun. The style of the game looks like it will lend itself perfectly to the WW I era.

Link 1914 Mod
