Parody thread?

Im beginning to think parody threads are starting to become tired. Enjoy them if you do but to me they are starting to become devoid of wit or satire. Seems like now all you have to do is change a word and wow, parody. Where is the intellect? Where is the humor? i dunno, maybe its just me.
