Something tells me Billy Beane won't be asking Seth McAdam to come work for him any time soon.

I especially liked his: "getting on base isn't really important, it's ROUNDING the bases" (paraphrased).

On a related topic, everyone knows the amount of runs a pitcher gives up isn't important, it's how many runs he can get his team to score for him.

There's an argument that Suzuki is a better player than Pujols.

- Pujols has some health issues.

- Suzuki is a vastly better baserunner.

- Suzuki is a better defensive player at a more demanding position.

- Suzuki's skill set is rarer.
