Changing the position

I'm intrigued by the idea of changing player positions. In FOF, I haven't had much success with it and never saw a player in a game who changed and did well.

So, I'm going to play a dynasty where I take drafted players, insert them onto my team and see how well their careers pan out, in their changed positions.

I might not update this one much, but at least, that's the idea as I'm curious to see what happens.

I drafted QB Adrian McPherson and turned him into a SE.

I drafted QB Matt Jones and turned him into a SS

and I have a few other changes, but I'll post them later on...

Jones pretty much sucked it up.

McPherson is actually serviable, but the game obviously doesn't make these kids nearly as athletic as they are in real life. Or perhaps, it was just X-Factor.

Anyway...

It's my third season and I acquired Chris McAllister from Billings (it's a fictional league...actually, I need to files to make the league normal again) Anyway...

He's played CB for his years, but I moved him over to Strong Safety before the start of the season. Just to see what would happen, since they said he'd not lose any of his skills.

His first two seasons, he had a total of 7 INTs, for 67 yards in 32 games.

So far, 12 games into the season he's got 9 for 129 yards. Boy, talk about a change for the better! That's the first time I'd made a change like that where I saw such a positive change.
