OT: OOTP6 question

I've posted this at the OOTP forum but figured I would try over here as well because I know we have some cross-overs.

I can no longer load the game. When the loadnig league progress bar reaches 100%, I get the application error, send to Microsoft, error screen and the game ends (after selecting send or not).

I have tried restarting and still get the same error. This isn't upon selecting a league or anything, just the initial load of the game.

I had no error yesterday when loading or when closing out the game (no indication of a problem at that point).

Anyone get this before? If so, how did you fix it?

Thanks,
EagleFan

Even if its on the initial load of the game, it is loading up a league file. Go into your OOTP dir and rename any leagues you have (just take of the.lg extension) and reopen OOTP. That will determine whether or not your league file is corrupted.

Oddly, I changed the setup file to open a different league. That worked so I opened the other league from within the game and it loads no problem.

I simmed the rest of the season and saved no problem. The problem seems to be that I can't start the game with that league as initial league. I get the error again when startnig the game. I have to again change the setup to load a different league and then I can load and play from there.
