Thoughts and Prayers, Please
I came home late this evening to find out that one of my very close female friends was raped during a cab ride home after partying downtown. Keeping her in your thoughts and prayers would be greatly appreciated.
What I would appreciate more is for those of you who go out and party and such be aware of your surroundings at all times -- don't go places alone, and stay with friends at all times. So frustrating to be here, knowing how horrible she feels right now as she is sobbing out back, telling her story of the events to the police. I have to sit here, and hope that my presence helps -- even though the police are talking with her alone and not letting any of us (even my roommate, her boyfriend) talk with her.

Wow. Raped during a cab ride? Was it the driver, or did he just ignore it? That's awful.

We don't know the whole story, but from what we can piece together, the cab driver pulled over while on the freeway, and she was the only person in the cab.
Such sick people.
