Cannot delete file? Why? (windows related)

OK, I am trying to delete a folder/file from my HD but I get this error;

[IMG][/IMG]

Not sure what happend. Thsi file belonged to a racing sim (GTR) and I needed to uninstall the game for the time being. I went back to the C drive to make sure all files were gone but this one was still left. Is there a way to egt rid of it - although it tells me it "cannot find the specified folder"?

Thanks.

call dell...who will tell you to reboot. if that doesnt work, you should probably just go ahead and reformat your computer.

Tried this too.

I was able to get it into the Recycle Bin. But I can not delete it from there. I was able to get it there by adding a txt file (blank) in the folder.

Every WinXp machine has that folder and it is undeletable.

Thought I'd try the old mind game on you. As far as getting it to the recycle bin and not being able to empty it I'm not sure, you could put it somewhere else on your pc where it won't bother you and try to rename it then see if you can delete. Other than that it may just be one of those deal with it until you have time to reload type deals.
