Computer help please!

Ok, so I got a new monitor about a month ago. Everything was working fine. I am running windows 98 second edition on my desktop. When I came home today the screen was frozen on the screen saver. I did a cold boot and the monitor no longer works! The light just blinks and blinks and blinks. I know it's not the monitor or cable because I plugged it into my laptop and the monitor came right up. Any suggestions?

well, check to make sure it's properly seated in it's slot first, but yeah, sounds like it's shot.

Reseat the card in the slot, If you have a Gateway they had some major problems with the card becoming unseated. The cases they used were prone to flex and popping the card out. If fact if you have a Gateway that freezes alot, open the case and reseat the card, might help out.

If you have a Gateway, someone should shoot you.
