FM: Speed up my game

With all the FM news lately, I figure I'll ask my question here..

I'm trying to play a game with three coaches in three countries. One in England, one in Spain, one in Italy. They're all going to start at my age (28), and I'm going to follow their careers side-by-side.

I've got the game started, and it's been really slow going so far. Anyone have any ideas to make it go faster? The Italian coach was offered a job at Biellese, and the Spanish coach was offered a job with I think Castillo. Does this always happen? I know the jobs are always available, but do the teams always make an offer? I want to try to start their careers as randomly as possible.

Then turn down the jobs.

Are you saying then, that the teams always offer the jobs?

I have no idea, but if you want a random element, then turn them down and wait for something else.

The teams won't always offer a job to a 'human' - but if a human manager is unemployed at the start of a game and a small club has an opening then its fairly likely as you start with a 'reasonable' reputation and as such as a likely candidate for any opening in the lower divisions ...
