Is there anyway to delete URLs out of the address bar history drop down?

Yeah, go into Tools/Internet Options/Clear (for Internet Explorer) or Tools/Options/Clear History (for Firefox).

In IE...Tools..Internet Options...History Area (on General Tab)...Clear History button.

Depending on the browser, there's usually sub-menu options for "clearing history" or "clear address bar", etc.
In Netscape/Mozilla, it's Edit-->Preferences-->Navigator-->History-->"Clear Location Bar"
